Hi, my name is Kiran and I am in my final year of the BSPS program. I plan on going to pharmacy school after completing my bachelor’s degree because I am interested in becoming a pharmacist. I am taking this course because it is required for me to graduate, but I am also want to learn more about how to design drugs for a certain target. The topics that are the most interesting to me are finding drug targets on proteins and designing a drug based on the protein structure. I am looking forward to a great semester.

Hello friends! My name is Izzy and I am a senior in the BSPS program. I recently got admitted into the UA College of Pharmacy so I will be starting in August. My plan, for now, is to either get a PharmD/MBA dual degree or specialize in psychiatric pharmacy. I am not 100% sure yet, but I’ll definitely explore my options in pharmacy school. I am taking this course because it is a requirement in the pharmaceutical sciences major. I think all of the topics will be interesting especially because I don’t really know what to expect. I can’t wait to spend this last semester with you all!

Hi everyone. My name is Ariana and I am a senior in the new BSPS program. I will be starting the PharmD program in the fall. As of right now, my goal is to get my PharmD and become a pharmacist, however, I am thinking about a dual PhD/PharmD degree. The research side of pharmacy is super interesting to me but I am still unsure on what I want to do.
I am taking this course to fulfill the requirement in the BSPS program but also to gain more knowledge on the process of finding a drug target and what it takes to create a new drug. The topics that I am looking forward to the most are mapping out binding pockets of specific targets. I am excited to learn. 🙂

Hey guys! I’m Sam and I’m a senior in the BSPS major. After graduation, I will be attending the University of Arizona Pharm.D program in Tucson, hoping to specialize in Emergency Medicine Pharmacy, but that might change, so we will see where pharmacy school takes me. I am taking this course to finish off the major class requirements needed for the BSPS degree. I am super excited to explore the in depth process of developing a drug and discovering druggable targets with all of you!

Hi everyone, I am Samantha ( or feel free to call me Sam) and I am a senior in the BSPS major. I plan to go to pharmacy school here at the U of A after taking a little time off. I am not sure which field of pharmacy that I would like to pursue, and I am still exploring my options. I am taking this course to fulfill my requirements for the BSPS program. One topic that I think I am most excited to learn about is the extensive process of designing a drug in the lab and bringing it out on the market for the patient’s benefit.
